“The young man, having shown an active civic position and courage, despite the numerical superiority of the attackers, did not stand aside and stood up for the girl. The man continued to be hit even when he was already lying on the floor in a pool of blood, ”the committee said.

On the eve, the video of the fight spread on social networks. On it, three people in a subway car on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line kick a man. According to eyewitnesses, the young man stood up for the girl, which provoked the attackers. He was hospitalized with fractures of the facial bone and nose and with bruises.

The attackers were detained, having identified them with the help of cameras installed in the subway. The Investigative Committee reported that they resisted the arrest, threatened with a knife and pepper spray. They can also be prosecuted for the use of violence against a government official, and their actions can be qualified as attempted murder.
