Baton seized from Popular Front leader’s shop – PFI Raid

Mananthavadi: A sword was seized from the shop of a Popular Front leader in Wayanad. During the inspection conducted by the police, 4 sticks were seized from the tire shop of leader Salim. The police informed that Salim will be arrested soon. Popular Front district office was also inspected.

The police also searched the houses of the Palakkad Popular Front workers. Information has been received from all the stations that the houses of those in the suspect list will be raided if necessary.

2 houses were raided in Thrissur Mala Pallipuram. So far, there is no sign of anything substantial.

Police also raided the houses of local leaders of Ambalapuzha, Purakkad and Punnapra Popular Front. Bank documents were seized. The documents were seized from the houses of Purakkad Panchayat Committee Secretary Suneer and Ambalapuzha North Gram Panchayat Member Najeeb. Both were arrested in the case of attacking buses on the hartal day. It is reported that the raid will continue tomorrow.
