Battiato, unreleased track recorded Siae: “Io sono più io”

On the day of mourning for the death of Franco Battiato, MOW (mowmag.com) points out that there is an unreleased song by the Sicilian singer-songwriter. The lifestyle magazine of AM Network publishes some passages of the lyrics of the song: “Me, it’s not me anymore”, followed by: “and I find myself staring at the wall (…) I need to dream what I can’t do and my feeling bad makes me believe in God too ”.

According to what mowmag.com reports today, it is a song that is recorded in the SIAE Musical Works Archive, with the title “Io sono più io” and with authors: Franco Battiato (music) and Roberto Ferri (text). The excerpt published by the newspaper continues: “Today the sky does not let itself be looked at, one day it is born one day it dies (…) I have never been afraid of you, but only of me. Don’t hate me, it’s enough for me (…) I no longer make sense of the limit, I need infinity… “. In the decade between 2000 and 2010, Battiato collaborated with Ferri and there is a copy of: “I am no longer me”. Roberto Ferri, interviewed by MOW about it, declared that he had transferred the rights of the song to Franco Battiato’s family.
