San Francisco, 2010 Thirty-two-year-old enterprising cynic Travis Kalanick starts a revolution in the world of cabs, challenging the usual taxi companies. Based on the idea of his friend Garrett Camp, he generates a mobile application that allows the client to call the driver to any point and pay by linking a bank card to the application. Kalanick convinces investor Bill Gurley to invest in a promising startup, and after giving Travis a little test, Bill agrees.
But big business gets in the way of the company, roofed by the municipality and outraged that the upstart with a smartphone is poaching drivers and clients. The stakes and risks at each new stage will only increase, but a desperate romantic challenges all risks…
