jpnn.com – SAMARINDA – The East Kalimantan (Kaltim) General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) found many negligences committed by officers when matching and researching (coklit) voter data for the 2024 Regional Head Elections (Pilkada).

According to East Kalimantan Bawaslu Member Galeh Akbar Tanjung, the number even reached 81 cases of negligence in attaching the coklit stickers which are an important part of the voter data updating process.

“From the findings, 21 cases involved heads of families who had not been coklit, but had been given stickers. Meanwhile, 60 other cases had been coklit, but had not been given stickers,” said Galeh Akbar in Samarinda, Tuesday (23/7).

Galeh said that during the supervision period from June 24 to July 14, 2024, there were a number of special incidents related to the attachment of coklit stickers.

Like the incident in Paser Regency, there were two heads of families who did not have their data checked but instead had stickers attached.

Furthermore, six houses were also found to have stickers that did not include the polling station (TPS) number.

Meanwhile, in West Kutai, there were three heads of families who refused to be checked and have stickers attached on the grounds that they did not want to participate in this year’s regional elections.

However, the Pantarlih continued to check and on the advice of the sub-district election committee (PPK), stickers were attached to the village office.

The East Kalimantan Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) found many omissions when checking voter data for the 2024 Pilkada.
