jpnn.com – BANYUWANGI – The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) found alleged violations during the process of matching and researching (coklit) voter data for the 2024 Banyuwangi Pilkada.

According to the Coordinator of the Prevention, Community Participation and Public Relations Division, Banyuwangi Regency Bawaslu, Khomisa Kurnia Indra, the village and sub-district supervisors (pkd) and the District Panwaslu found that the Pantarlih officers did not come directly to the voters’ homes.

“The results of the second week of monitoring the implementation of voter data verification did indeed contain findings by the PKD and sub-district Panwaslu, starting from the procedures, mechanisms, one of which was that Pantarlih officers conducted remote verification (via telephone),” said Indra when contacted in Banyuwangi, Thursday (11/7).

According to Indra, the local Bawaslu immediately gave warnings or suggestions for improvement verbally or in writing to the voting committee (PPS) and the sub-district election committee.

A warning was also given to the Pantarlih officers after the sub-district and village supervisors and the sub-district Panwaslu became aware of the findings in the field.

“Alhamdulillah, after we submitted suggestions for improvement, the KPU, in this case the Pantarlih officers, carried out their duties by conducting re-matching and research and came directly to the voter’s house,” he said.

Indra further said that his party also found that the Pantarlih officers did not attach stickers to voters’ homes.

The Banyuwangi Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) found violations in the voter data verification process for the 2024 Pilkada.
