The company operates retail storefronts in Berkeley—located at 1799 Fourth Street and 2111 D Vine Street—along with a location in Massachusetts, while wholesaling to approximately 1,000 boutiques nationwide and department stores including Dillard’s. Bryan Walker served as the company’s chief executive officer. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the business partnered with local nonprofit It Takes A Village to produce 50,000 fabric face masks and 5,000 face shields for regional hospitals.

Oakland Police Confirm Recovered Firearm and Active Homicide Inquiry

Oakland Police Department Assistant Chief Casey Johnson told reporters during a press briefing that investigators recovered a firearm at the scene. Authorities confirmed that no active threat exists to the public and officers are not searching for any outstanding suspects.

We aren’t looking currently for anyone at large, Johnson stated, adding that investigators have not ruled out a possible murder-suicide while the homicide division continues its follow-up examination.
