He Bayern Munich has condemned this Sunday the Racist comments against his French attacker Mathys Tel on social networks, one day after the Bavarian team’s defeat against RB Leipzig 3-0 in the German Super Cup.
“We strongly condemn the contemptuous comments against Mathys Tel on social networks. Whoever writes something so racist and nauseating is not a Bayern fan,” the German champion club wrote on X (former Twitter).

“Mathys, we are by your side and you have our full support,” Bayern concluded, accompanying his label message #RedAgainstRacismthe name of the anti-racism campaign that appeared on Bayern’s shirt in Saturday’s game.

Mathys Tel arrived at Bayern Munich in mid-2022, from Rennes. In his first season with the team he signed six goals (five in the Bundesliga and one in the German Cup).
