The magazine highlights the activities of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, at the level of the Al-Quds Committee and in constant support of the just Palestinian cause, on the political, diplomatic, humanitarian and field levels.
The issue reviews the main activities and social initiatives implemented by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, within the framework of its scope of action, as well as a file devoted to some aspects of the holy month in the Holy City of Al-Quds, which lacked its usual joy this year.
In his editorial, the Director in charge of the management of the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, writes that this humanitarian operation was ordered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Qods Committee, “with substantial means and a colossal effort, thus reflecting the bonds of brotherhood that have, for a thousand years, animated the populations of Morocco towards their Palestinian brothers.”
He emphasizes that Moroccans are, in good times and bad, “the first to come to the aid of their Palestinian brothers. And in this enterprise, closed doors open before them, thanks to the blessing of God and the privileged status enjoyed by His Majesty the King, may God glorify Him, after the Palestinians lost hope in the arrival of aid.”
In this regard, the editorial notes that Moroccans “experienced an exceptional and unprecedented moment with the launch of this major humanitarian operation, delivered by land, to the Palestinian populations of Gaza and the Holy City of Al-Quds, which was followed by the world, reflecting the high concern with which His Majesty the King, may God preserve Him, has always surrounded the Palestinian question.”
“The Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, attaches great importance to the Palestinian issue, placing it at the top of the country’s major causes, and follows through on its words, through the commendable efforts made by Moroccan diplomacy, as well as the concrete action on the ground of the Agency,” noted Mr. Cherkaoui.
“The Agency hopes that its action plan for 2024 will record a qualitative leap, by consolidating human development, empowerment and social assistance programs, as well as documentation and memory preservation projects, in addition to those programmed in the sectors of health, education, commerce, agriculture, heritage, youth, sports, childhood, women and society,” he added.
He emphasizes, in this regard, that the Agency, by placing its 2024 annual plan under the banner of “digital development in the service of economic and social development in Al-Quds”, is aware of the potential offered to young people and new generations thanks to technology and the digital universe to encourage them to set up projects that generate stable and decent income.
The Agency has always had an unwavering commitment to the Holy City of Al-Quds and its people, striving to implement the High Royal Instructions, with realism and commitment, and following an approach combining ambition and rationalization to achieve the objectives for which it was established, in order to defend the Holy City and its religious and civilizational heritage as well as its legal status, noted Mr. Cherkaoui.
The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency works, according to its laws and regulations, to mobilize the necessary funding to carry out its projects and programs, the author stressed, concluding that this institution has demonstrated, in a concrete manner, its capacity to multiply achievements, each time it has the necessary means.
