The 2026 Birthplace of Route 66 Festival will take place in Downtown Springfield, Missouri, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily. The event features a Car & Motorcycle Village, live music, and the Open Cruise, replacing the traditional parade.
The festival includes a Car & Motorcycle Village open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, featuring hundreds of vintage and custom vehicles along the Route 66 Motor Mile. Special guests include custom car builder Dave Kindig and Kevin Schiele from Bitchin’ Rides, who will host meet-and-greets and appearances at the Aaron Sachs Stage. Live music daily culminates with Sixwire and special guest Al Paris at 9:00 PM on Saturday. The Open Cruise replaces the traditional parade, running at 6:00 PM on Friday and Saturday nights.
