BBVA allocates 352 million euros to the internationalization of Girona companies

BBVA accompanied the Spanish companies with 28,102 million euros intended for its internationalization during 2022, 27% more than the previous year. In the case of companies of the demarcation of Girona, this increase was 43%with a total figure of 352 million euros.

According to details from the banking entity, this increase derives both from financing products and services and guarantees for expansion in foreign marketsas solutions to reduce the risks associated with international activity.

BBVA explains that the companies that relied on the entity to expand their international business during the past 2022, received the support of a team of specialists made up of nearly 60 managers. “These experts in international and ‘cross-border’ solutions help optimize business opportunities globallyeither to start operations abroad, to diversify its global presence or to consolidate an international trade strategy”, they detail.

“In addition, the entity’s business customers have access to a wide range of digital capabilities through online banking”, they say. The entity explains that these solutions allow them to manage and consult international operations “in a simple way”. “Among others, they include payments in more than 50 currencies, online financing and exchange rate risk management, through simulators and the hiring of hedging products,” explains BBVA.
