BBVA and Length of Childhood after sending a series of training materials on Artificial intelligence (AI) for the educational community, within the program Linked Educationwhich seeks to empower families, teachers, and students to understand and properly manage the effects of AI in their lives and classroom.

With the accelerated progress of AI, it is imperative that the educational community keeps up to date with the opportunities and challenges associated with this technology. Through courses and video tutorials, Connected Education offers training from basic concepts to practical applications, addressing key topics such as digital security, technological ethics and biases in algorithms. These initiatives provide strategies to ensure the safe, responsible and ethical use of AI at home and in education.

One of the most impressive resources is the free course entitled “Connected Families. Challenges and opportunities of AI at home”, aimed at fathers and mothers. This course aims to provide families with practical tools to understand how AI is impacting their daily lives and how to safely manage its impact. Through the course, we seek to strengthen the capacity of families to accompany their sons and daughters in an ever-changing digital environment.

Beatriz Martin Padura, general director of Fad Juventud, underlines the importance of this resource: “AI is changing our lives at a dizzying pace, and it is vital that families are not left behind. With this course, we want to empower parents to be active and critical guides in their children’s digital education, ensuring the conscious and safe use of technology at home.”
