The supply chain financing fintech, Twinco Capital, has announced at the sixth edition of the Valencia Digital Summit (VDS), which has closed a new round of up to 50 million euros of debt with BBVA Spark to accelerate its growth.

Twinco, one of the few high-growth fintechs in Europe led by women, offers a sustainable supply chain finance market solution. This solution includes purchase order financing and has provided more than $250 million in credit to suppliers in emerging markets.

“We are very happy to support Sandra and Carmen, two entrepreneurial women who have been able to reinvent, through Twinco, the way in which global supply chains are financed and who have also incorporated innovative environmental and social criteria into their supplier financing model,” explains Roberto Albaladejo, head of BBVA Sparkan initiative that in just one year of activity already has more than 800 clients and has provided 250 million euros in financing.

Sandra Nolasco, CEO of Twinco Capital, comments: “We are very pleased to partner with BBVA Spark to help our clients build sustainable and competitive global supply chains. Together with the collaboration of financial institutions related to our mission, we will be able to address large-scale challenges like the one we have set out to address: closing the financing gap in international trade. With this new line of financing, we will boost the growth of Twinco’s portfolio, expanding both the number of clients and its geographical presence.”
