Bangladesh Cricket Board Congratulates New Youth & Sports Minister

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has congratulated Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Asif was sworn in as an advisor to the interim government last night and was assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The BCB expressed their confidence in Asif’s dedication and love for sports development, stating that they believe he will provide exemplary leadership and vision in his new role. The board hopes to achieve common goals with Asif for the betterment of cricket in Bangladesh.
The announcement comes after the fall of the Hasina government on August 5, when President Mohammad Sahabuddin Chuppu dissolved the parliament and an interim government led by Dr. Mohammad Yunus took over.
