New Delhi: BCCI Secretary Jai Shah has announced that the female players will be paid the same as the male players of the Indian cricket team. Jai Shah announced this historic decision through Twitter. Equal pay is paid in match fee.

Jai Shah stated that Indian cricket has achieved gender equality by giving equal pay to male and female players. Jai Shah made this known after getting the second term as the secretary of BCCI.

The same match fee currently available to men’s players will be available to women. 15 lakhs in Tests, 6 lakhs in ODIs and 3 lakhs in Twenty20 each women player will get Rs.
