The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is announcing the contracts for the Indian squad for the International Tests, ODIs and T20s, including the Great A +, A, B and C categories.
Of this, seven crore rupees is paid to players in the Great A + category and five, three and one crore rupees to the A, B and C category players respectively.
The contract list for the current year was released yesterday. Accordingly, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jaspreet Bhumra remain in the A + category.
Ravichandran Aswin, Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pund, K.L. Rahul and Mohammad Shami retained their place in the A division this year as they did last year.
Ishant Sharma, Rahane and Pujara, who were in the A division last year, have been placed in the B division this year.
Akshar Patel and Mohammad Siraj have advanced from C division to B division. Apart from this Sreyas Ayarum is also in the B category.
Similarly, Hardik Pandya, who was in the A division last year, has been included in the C division this year. Viruthiman, who was in the B category last year, has been placed in the C category this year. Apart from these, Umesh Yadav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are also in the C division.
