BCCI disgruntled?

In the first home match after the South Africa series, India faced Afghanistan yesterday (January 11). Indian team won the match by 6 wickets. Earlier, Shreyas Iyer and Ishaan Kishan were eliminated from the series. Wicketkeeper and batsman Jitesh Sharma and Sanju Samson were selected in his place. Sanju Samson did not get a chance in the playing eleven in the first match.

Earlier, Ishan Kishan also withdrew from the Test series against South Africa. He also celebrated New Year with former captain Dhoni. Meanwhile, BCCI is said to be unhappy with Ishan Kishan.

No Dissatisfaction:

As a result, BCCI disciplinary action was taken against him. Regarding this matter, Indian team coach Rahul Dravid said, “No one has any dissatisfaction with Ishan Kishan. He has left earlier because he cannot play in the Afghanistan series. Ishan Kishan asked for leave during the South Africa Test series. We are all in support of that.

Ishan Kishan has been ruled out of Afghanistan’s T20I series. Maybe if he comes back from leave, there is hope that he will definitely play domestic cricket and be ready to play for the Indian team. Similarly, no disciplinary action was taken against Shreyas Iyer. There are many batsmen in T20 cricket. “He has not played T20 cricket in South Africa either,” he said.

Earlier, Jharkhand State Cricket Association Secretary Debakish Chakraborty said, “Ishan Kishan has not contacted us. Also, we were not told anything about taking part in the competition. Whenever he comes and talks to us, he will definitely get a place in the playing eleven,” it is noted.
