“To buy weapons”, “for drugs.” When you receive a bizum with any of these concepts from a horny friend or family member, laughter is guaranteed. It’s just a joke. But, of course, not everyone knows it. Apparently, there must be many funny people who use this mobile money transfer platform, because the popular application has decided to alert them from its official account on TikTok. Warns that attaching these types of messages to their financial transactions can get them into trouble.

“Did you know that adding funny or suspicious concepts can cost you a lot?” warns Bizum from the viral video platform. “If you are thinking of putting ‘for coke’ in your next Bizum concept, think twice,” he concludes, putting fear into the staff’s bodies.

In that sense, the video explains that in the best of cases, faced with a hilarious payment “for coke”, the bank will reject the payment and then “make a call” to check to see if its client is a drug trafficker: ” Everything good over there?”. At worst, “you could have problems with the Police.”

And all because of law 10/2010 of April 28 on the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism, as explained in the video. The rule implies that the banking entities themselves are in charge of monitoring all the movements of their clients in case they hide any possible criminal act.

So as the young woman who stars in the video says, “be careful with these types of jokes.” And the sense of humor is better left for the most private sphere, although many users have not hesitated to joke about their concepts through the more than 500 comments that this entry has on Tik Tok: «You’re late… 80 bizums late».
