According to her, tea is not attributed to drinks that significantly affect health, but to those that have a specific positive effect. Tea contains biologically active substances such as: catechins, antioxidants, volatile oils, amino acids, vitamins B1, B2, P, PP, iron, magnesium, calcium and caffeine.

According to her, consuming three cups of green tea per day leads to a lower risk of prostate cancer, endometrial cancer, cardiovascular disease, and stroke. Dr. Alexandrova added that drinking black tea also has a positive effect on health, as it reduces the risk of cognitive impairment and osteoporosis in the elderly.

According to Alexandrova, adding sweeteners can cause metabolic problems, and that all the positive effects of tea usually occur when it is free of sugar, sweeteners or cream.
