Nelson made his directorial debut with Kolamau Kokila. Following the film, Sivakarthikeyan’s Doctor was released last month and became a blockbuster hit. Nelson, who thus gave consecutive hit films, is currently directing Vijay’s Beast.
Produced by Sun Pictures, the film stars Vijay Hegde opposite Pooja Hegde and the villain Selvara. Also VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Yogibabu, Retin are playing the lead roles. Anirudh composes the music for the action-packed film.
The shooting of the film is in full swing. The crew plans to release the film in April next year on the occasion of the Tamil New Year. Meanwhile, the Beast film crew recently released a photo to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the filming of Beast. This photo went viral on social media.
