If Beitar Jerusalem’s bad start to the season on the grass wasn’t enough, the yellow-blacks had to watch one of the team’s key players, Oral Dagny, go down injured during the defeat to Maccabi Tel Aviv on Saturday. According to an MRI test the player underwent, it turned out that he suffers from a rather small tear in the hamstring muscle and it is estimated that he will miss about a month and a half.

The meaning for the Jerusalem club is that the brake is expected to return only after the World Cup break, which will begin on November 12. Despite Dagani’s injury, Beitar do not intend to strengthen the stopper until the end of the transfer window in a few days. Uri Dahan’s name came up as a candidate, but as far as the club is concerned, his inclusion is not on the agenda.

The one the club does hope to see wearing the yellow-black uniform soon is Yoon Nicolasco. Yossi Aboksis believes that the striker will be able to contribute to the team both with the help of his presence inside the opponent’s square and outside it.

Hagai Goldenberg is expected to return from injury for tomorrow’s game against Hapoel Jerusalem in the Toto Cup, while those who will be absent apart from Degani will be the injured Dan Azaria, Max Grechkin and Ofir Kariaf, as well as Joshua Machias, Eduardo Guerrero, Stav Nachmani and Bar Cohen who represent their national teams.

Estimated composition: Itamar Israeli, Avishi Cohen, Or Zahavi, David Hoja, Amit Cohen, Aviel Zargari, Miron Tal, Ili Madmon, Ronen Hantzis, Danilo Asperia, Jordan Shua
