This result was obtained after the Red and White knocked out the defending Thomas Cup champions, India in the final group match, at the Hi-Tech Zone Sports Center Gymnasium, Chengdu, Wednesday (1/5) evening WIB.
Indonesia’s second men’s doubles, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, who played in the fourth match, ensured Indonesia’s victory.
Leo/Daniel beat Dhruv Kapila/Sai Pratheek 22-20, 21-11.
The win made the score 3-1.
Even though the fifth match, namely the Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo vs Kidambi Srikanth duel, is still being held, in general it is certain that Indonesia will win the meeting with India.
