jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Inter Milan beat Udinese with a score of 2-0 in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Friday (20/12) early morning WIB.
This victory made Inter Milan advance to the semifinals of the Coppa Italia. The team coached by Simone Inzaghi will face Lazio in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia.
Inter dominated the game and put pressure on the visitors from the start of the match.
However, Inter only broke the deadlock after the match had been running for 30 minutes.
Marko Arnautovic’s hard kick after receiving the ball fed by Mehdi Taremi could not be stopped by Edoardo Piana who was guarding the Udinese goal.
Inter almost doubled their lead in the 36th minute through Carlo Agustin’s hard kick, but the ball was cleared by Piana.
Towards the end of the first half, Kristijan Asllani managed to increase Inter’s lead to 2-0 with a corner kick which went straight into the Udinese goal.
Entering the second half, Yang Bisseck created a chance for the hosts at the start of the match with a volley but it went wide of the goal.
