Beauty creator Leo J, affiliated with Leferi, has been appointed as the head of the public relations team for ‘Seoul Beauty Week’.
Referee (CEO Won Yoo) announced on the 12th that an inauguration ceremony was held to appoint a total of 25 promotional team members, including beauty creator Leo J, to support the successful hosting of ‘Seoul Beauty Week’. The inauguration ceremony, held on the 3rd floor conference room of the new Seoul City Hall building, was attended by Referee Chairman In-seok Choi, Seoul Mayor Se-hoon Oh, and Referee beauty creator Leo J and 25 promotional team members.
The PR team, consisting of beauty influencers including Leo J, who has 1.33 million YouTube subscribers, will begin full-scale activities starting with this inauguration ceremony to widely publicize the charms of Seoul Beauty Week and Seoul, the center of K-beauty. The PR team will produce various contents such as on-site sketches of the inauguration ceremony, pre-fam tour and opening ceremony, and introductions to participating company booths, and promote them by posting them on SNS.
At the inauguration ceremony held that day, beauty creator Leo J, who was appointed as the head of the public relations team, emphasized, “Seoul Beauty Week will be an important event that leads innovation and trends in the beauty industry,” and “As the head of the public relations team and a proud Korean beauty creator, I will take on the role with a sense of responsibility.”
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon said, “There are even recent evaluations that say ‘K-Beauty Season 2’ has begun, and we are entering a new heyday,” and asked, “Please do a good job of incorporating the charm of Seoul Beauty Week and the center of K-Beauty, ‘Seoul,’ into your content.”
Seoul Beauty Week is a beauty fair that is now in its third year and will be held from October 1st to 3rd at DDP in Seoul. At Seoul Beauty Week, beauty companies, domestic and international buyers, and beauty industry professionals will gather to support business through the ‘K-Beauty Forum’, exhibitions of leading beauty companies and promising companies, export consultations, and talk concerts.
Last December, Leferi and Seoul City signed a business agreement and agreed to cooperate for the development of the beauty industry in Seoul. Accordingly, Leferi will be in charge of operating the ‘PR Team’ and ‘K-Beauty Forum’ at Seoul Beauty Week.
