Born in Brescia in 1978, Beccagutti has gained experience and expertise in the medical devices sector, covering various roles in areas such as access to healthcare, training, business process transformation, and institutional relations. Graduated in Pharmacy, with a specialization in socioeconomics, at the University of Pavia, he entered the world of healthcare in the field of pharmacoeconomic consultancy, before joining Medtronic in 2005, where, most recently, he held the role of Value Strategy Director for the Europe region.
“We warmly welcome Guido Beccagutti,” said President Nicola Barni. “I am convinced that his distinctive expertise, vision and enthusiasm will help give new impetus to our association and enhance it further, to face together the important challenges that await us. I would like to extend my deepest thanks to Fernanda Gellona, who in her role as General Manager has traced a solid path of growth and innovation for Confindustria medical devices, making the association a high-profile institutional interlocutor.”
“I am very proud to take on this role – said Beccagutti – aware of the great responsibility of taking over from Fernanda Gellona, who in all these years has been able to competently manage the complexities of the sector. New significant challenges await us, first of all the overcoming of payback and the new governance of medical devices, to pursue the growth of the association and strengthen the medical devices industry in Italy”.
