Police forces are in charge of maintaining order at the Moleda interchange due to a riot by Bedouin at the site. During the afternoon, 13 rioters who threw stones at the police were arrested at the scene.

Road 31 from the Shoket junction to Tel Arad was closed to traffic for hours due to a violation of protest conditions at the Moleda junction, violently violating order and only around 6:20 PM was it reopened to traffic. Police are operating at the scene with the help of the air force helicopter to disperse the disturbance which was initially pushed into the area.

A report was received that 3 residents of the area arrived at the hospital slightly injured.

The police said in response that “the Israel Police will allow the freedom of protest as long as it complies with the language of the law and will act with zero tolerance against disturbance. We appeal to the public to obey the police’s instructions and choose alternative travel.”
