Bo‘Brahmastra’ is Lewood’s most awaited film. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, the film will hit the theaters on September 9. With boycott calls becoming commonplace in Bollywood now, ‘Brahmastra’ has become the latest. A video of Ranbir Kapoor talking about his favorite food led to the boycott call.

A video cutting of an old interview is circulating on social media. The presenter asks what are their favorite foods. Ranbir’s reply was that he likes red meat dishes and is a fan of beef. A boycott campaign is going on against the film on Twitter by cutting only this part. This reaction of Ranbir was in an interview related to the film Rockstar years ago.

Recently there were boycott calls against Bollywood films like Ligar, Lal Singh Chadha and Rakshabandhan. After Wake Up Sidd and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmatra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in lead roles. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios and Namit Malhotra are producing this big budget film which is Ayan Mukerji’s dream project. Earlier there were reports that the film will have three parts. The title of the film was released on Mahashivratri at the Kumbh Mela in Prayag.
