David Yesterday, an irregular filmmaker, but not lacking in talent and with a good pulse for hardcore action thrillers, seems aware of the type of product he has in hand and limits himself to directing much of the film on autopilot. We understand that the scarce 34 million budget does not provide much spectacle and is part of this reluctance, especially when the film uses visual effects, where between expectations and results there is an abyss of separation.
