/ On Monday, the Iraqi national football team concluded its training before facing its Philippine counterpart in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The match will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, at two o’clock in the afternoon, Baghdad time, at the “Rizal” Memorial Stadium, which will host the return match, and is located in the Philippine capital, Manila.
The Iraqi team leads Group Six with 9 points, followed by the Indonesian team second with 4 points, then the Vietnamese team third with 3 points, and finally the Philippine team with one point.
The Iraqi national team defeated its Philippine counterpart 1-0 in the first leg that took place in Basra on March 21, and the goal was scored by Muhannad Ali.
