Last week, the organization of the Behobia-San Sebastián reported that there had been 7,180 runners who had registered during the first phase, aimed at regulars (three of the last five editions disputed), tourist packages and solidarity numbers. Well, 24 hours after starting with the general registration (open to all), there are already almost 16,000 registered in the race that will be held on Sunday, November 12.
The data is spectacular. More than 8,000 people signed up between Wednesday at 12:00 noon and Thursday at 12:00: 3,428 from Gipuzkoa, 3,270 from Catalonia, 2,215 from Madrid… CD Fortuna, organizer of the event, recalls that registration will close again when 30,000 are reached targeted, as happened last year.
This is the occasion in which there have been more registrations in the first 24 hours after the opening of general registrations, exceeding the more than 6,000 that there were in 2019 and 2022.
