“In order to refinance the external public debt of the Republic of Belarus, I decide: to implement in 2021–2023. attraction of external government loans of the Republic of Belarus by issuing government securities in the territory of the Russian Federation as government debt in the amount of up to 100 billion Russian rubles, ”the decree says.

The maturity of the securities will be at least 1092 days, the proceeds from the placement of bonds will be credited to the bank account of the Belarusian Ministry of Finance in Gazprombank.

In 2019, Minsk, for the first time in almost ten years, placed its securities on the Russian debt market in the amount of RUB 30 billion, the demand for them amounted to RUB 45 billion.
