We will be very glad if active cooperation with Azerbaijan begins within the framework of new projects in the military sphere.
As Day.Az reports, the general director of the State Technical Unitary Enterprise “Belspetsvneshtekhnika” told Trend about this on Wednesday. Igor Velentey within V anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX 2024which takes place at the Baku Expo Center.
“Today at the exhibition, our stand presented more than 40 new military equipment weapons. We are demonstrating many of these new products for the first time not only in Azerbaijan. And we hope that Azerbaijan will appreciate these new products in the field of combating unmanned aerial vehicles. Also, for the first time We will present our new development – the Sapphire grenade launcher system,” he said.
Igor Velentey noted that all these projects are discussed during the company’s meetings with representatives of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense. The company also prepared presentations and technical proposals. Therefore, now all this is being studied and very actively discussed by both sides.
Let us remind you that on September 24-26, the Baku Expo Center is hosting the 5th anniversary of the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX – the largest event dedicated to the defense industry in the region. At the same time, the 14th International Exhibition of Equipment for Internal Security, Security and Rescue, Securex Caspian, was organized.
The first ADEX exhibition was organized in 2014. The list of participants and the sectors it covers are expanding from year to year.
Over 10 years of successful activity, the exhibition has brought together many companies representing more than 50 countries and about 200 official delegations. Over the years, the exhibition was visited by more than 30,000 guests.
