The new ethical code that has governed all Mediaset programs for a week seemed implacable with certain attitudes that occur in ‘Sálvame’ on a daily basis. Goodbye to political speeches, leaving the set for no reason is prohibited… In fact, in the latest programs, both the directors of ‘Sálvame’ and its presenters pay special attention to ensuring that their collaborators do not screw up. Although they don’t always succeed.
Belén Esteban can now boast of breaking the ethical code on at least two occasions. And the rule has only been in effect for a week! The controversial collaborator left the set last Wednesday because she did not tolerate her partner Rafa Mora talking about her daughter. The Basque presenter Adela González reminded her that she could not leave the set, but she ignored it.

Can they fire Belén Esteban? It is one of the sanctions that Mediaset can apply under its code of ethics, although from La Fabrica de la Tele, in statements to Informalia, they affirm that these new measures do not affect the collaborators of ‘Sálvame’. “They assure us that the chain takes them out of that norm by understanding that this type of thing is part of the small theater of the program,” reports this medium. If the latter is true, Belén Esteban and the rest of the collaborators would be a kind of ‘white horse’ for Mediaset.
