Belmarsh Maximum Security Prison, London (2): – Video

HMP Belmarsh is a notorious maximum security prison in south east London. Mail robber Ronnie Biggs sat here, Julian Assange is currently one of the inmates. The reporter Ross Kemp spends six months voluntarily in Belmarsh, with political extremists, felons and ordinary criminals and provides oppressive insights. In the second episode, Kemp meets the IS terrorist Aidan James and Claire Darbyshire, the only transgender inmate in Belmarsh.
