The Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater hosted a screening of the musical comedy “O olmasın, bu olsun” (“Not this one, so this one”), dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding representative of the national theater and film arts, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, laureate of the USSR State Prize Lutfali Abdullayeva (1914 – 1973), Day.Az reports.
Before the performance, Honored Artist Akper Alizade spoke about the life and work of the famous actor, about the image of Mashadi Ibad, which was skillfully embodied by Lutfali Abdullayev.
It was noted that theater experts divide Abdullaev’s work into three stages: roles in classical operettas, stage images in translated works, colorful characters in comedies by modern composers. Lutfali Abdullayev became famous for his work both in theater and cinema. He starred in such Azerbaijani films that became legendary, such as “Arshin Mal Alan”, “Ulduz”, “Where is Ahmed?” and others.
Then there was a screening of the play “O bolsin, bu olsun”, directed by People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Jannet Salimova. Conductor – Honored Artist Nazim Gadzhialibekov, Director – Honored Artist Ismail Mamedov, Choirmaster – Honored Artist Vagif Mastanov, Conductor – Honored Artist Fahraddin Ataev, Choreographer – Honored Artists Zakir and Elena Agayev, Concertmaster – Fidan Mamedova, Assistant Director – Sevindzh Mamedova and Elmeddin Dadashov.
Honored artists Shovgi Huseynov, Nakhida Orujova, Alekper Aliyev, Azizaga Azizov, Akper Alizade, Nadir Khasiev, actors Moile Mirzaliev, Alimamed Novruzov, Husein Alili, Shaban Jafarov, Aidan Hasanov, Elmeddin Dadashov, Tarana Aliyeva and others took part in the production.
