Demi Georgiou, who became particularly beloved from her participation in MasterChef in 2020, standing out for her cooking skills, passed away at the age of 39.

In her last post, Demi Georgiou captured one of her dishes, accompanying the post with the comment “fresh, handmade, so simply deliciously minimalist.” In another of her posts, where she seemed to be sharing her food, the famous chef noted that “the people who give you their food are giving you their heart.”

Her Personal Life and Cohabitation Agreement

Demi Georgiou had entered into a cohabitation agreement with her partner and had even proposed marriage, wanting to marry in a church. “When I was around 6, I was in love with my teacher,” she revealed in one of her last interviews. “I never had the chance to feel inferior about my sexuality,” she noted characteristically.

“I lost my dad early, so my mom was a bit more of a cuddly mom. So I didn’t feel inferior from my mom either. In general, I have not felt inferior. It’s the laws that make me feel inferior,” Demi Georgiou added. Commenting on the bill for same-sex couples, Demi Georgiou noted that she wants to go to a church with her partner.

“I want to go to a little church, to dress up like a bride, I do not understand why I cannot. I do not want to marry in a town hall, I want to marry in a little church.
