A 19-year-old young man is in serious condition after collapsing due to respiratory issues, after a sporting activity on a football field in Safed. MDA medics and paramedics gave him life-saving medical treatment that included resuscitation operations while giving massages and electric shocks, and after his pulse returned, he was taken to Ziv Hospital.
Paramedic MDA Oren Naman said: “We arrived at the field and saw a 19-year-old young man lying on the grass surrounded by people who began to give him first aid. He was without a pulse and not breathing, and we immediately began advanced resuscitation operations that included massages, respiration and the administration of electric shocks and drugs until his heart returned to beating And he started breathing, then we evacuated him to the hospital when his condition is serious and stable, sedated and ventilated.”
