The Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, ended a two-day visit to the south and Be’er Sheva, with a tour of Abraham’s shoulder. Ben Gvir thanked the police and promised that he would work for the Negev: “We will be here once a week for ten days. There is a lot to fix here and we are not one of those who sweep the dirt under the table and say it doesn’t exist. We heard the people in Be’er Sheva, the same lady who tells about drug addicts around It’s her business. We heard the girls tell about it that they are afraid to go. We heard other people too, but we heard, saw and were impressed. We give you (the police) a free hand, we give you the basis to work and enforce the law. We give you a free hand for professional law enforcement , as you know how to do.”
