The Knesset’s Interior Committee held a discussion today regarding the policy of entering Israel in the context of the absorption of refugees and immigrants from Ukraine. The debate exploded following a riot by Itamar Ben Gvir who clashed with committee chairman Walid Taha from Ra’am.
Ben Gvir referred to the murderous attack yesterday in Be’er Sheva in which 4 Jews were killed by a Bedouin terrorist living in Hura.

“You have no legitimacy to hold a hearing. You are the big instigator against the State of Israel. And we will not remain silent about it. You went to embrace Hamas terrorists. You meet with the killers there ‘Night of the Fork’s. On this day residents were murdered because of your incitement. “You are here. You do not have to chair a committee here, you have to chair a committee in Syria.”
So it went on and on, until Taha’s patience ran out and he pushed Ben Gvir away with three calls.
Ben Gvir refused to leave the hall, and continued shouting against him. Until the committee hearing was adjourned.
