Prosperidad Social has informed that the beneficiaries of the Renta Ciudadana program for the year 2024 can now download and sign the commitment act, an essential step to receive the benefit.
Additionally, Yohana Cubillos, director of Monetary Transfers of Prosperidad Social, announced that the platform for signing the commitment act is now enabled.
This document is mandatory for beneficiaries to access the subsidy.
The first phase of the program, titled “Valuation of Care,” has prioritized 544,108 households led by female heads of household, with children under 6 years old, belonging to group A of Sisbén.
These households will receive a subsidy of up to 500,000 pesos every 45 days, with the next payment scheduled for July 25, aiming to alleviate the economic difficulties they face.
Steps to sign the commitment act
To sign the commitment act for Renta Ciudadana 2024, follow these steps:
1. Access the website
2. Click on the button “Check here if you are registered.”
3. Fill in the required information with the details of the household head.
4. Check the box confirming that you are not a robot and click “Consult.”
If your household is registered and in active status, you will see a message confirming your status and will have the option to proceed with the electronic signing of the act. Then, follow these steps:

1. Click “Here” to enter the system.
2. Read the message about Renta Ciudadana and the associated commitments. After reading, click on “Continue.”
3. Validate the information provided about the members of your household. If it is correct, you can continue; if not, check and answer a few security questions related to the household information.
4. Once you pass the validation, read and accept the terms and conditions, which include the authorization for processing personal data, registration in databases, sending text messages and/or emails, and the electronic signing.
5. Review the commitment and co-responsibility act. Check that the information of the head of the household is correct and read the document carefully.
6. When you reach the end of the document, press “Continue” and then “Accept” to electronically sign the act.
Problems in managing the signature
Prosperidad Social has informed that they may experience high traffic on the Renta Ciudadana page, which can cause errors and delays in the process.
However, beneficiaries have a period of up to 90 days to complete the signing of the commitment act.
