Benefits: towards a reduction in rights for all new unemployed in 2023

This week should mark a new turning point for French unemployment insurance. After the return of the degressiveness of the allowances and the modification of the calculation of the daily reference wage (allowing to establish the amount of the unemployment benefit), two reforms introduced under the first five-year Macron period, the labor law 2 completes a real revolution unemployment compensation in France. “From the beginning of 2023, we will change the system, with lower rights for all new unemployed”, warn the unions.
