Chief Minister Basavaraj Bummy has ordered the dispatch of disaster management teams as Mahdevapura and Bommanahalli areas are the most affected. He also said that he has ordered the authorities to remove the accumulated rainwater from the roads. Meanwhile, the Water Supply and Sewerage Board has informed that the water supply will be affected for 2 days due to flooding in the area that supplies drinking water to Bengaluru.

Those employees who say that they don’t give much leave in the office and this affects their work, are waiting for tractors and traveling. Local residents said that tractor drivers take Rs 50 from each person for each journey.
