The IPL series is one of the leading cricket series which enjoys huge support from the world cricket fans. The next season of the IPL, which has a fan base of crores, is expected to be held in April 2023.
In this situation, there are reports that the auction of the players for next year’s IPL is going to be held in Bangalore on December 16. Mega auction was held for 2 teams this year due to debut in IPL series. But this time a “mini auction” is going to be held.
This will be the second time that the IPL auction will be held twice in a year if the BCCI confirms this information. Notably, the IPL Mega Auction was also held in Bengaluru in February this year.
It is expected that the amount of total amount fixed for IPL teams to buy players will be increased this time. According to BCCI sources, each IPL team will release the list of retained players by the end of next month.
