Beninese badminton players already present in Kampala

Beninese parabadists take part from July 4 to 16, 2023 in Kampala (Uganda) in the International and African Para badminton Championships. This is initially Abdoul Farid BOUKARY, SH6 class player (short people) who first participated in a training camp, then in a Classification workshop for new players from June 27 to July 3 in this country. These trainings, which are part of the BCA’s strategic plan aimed at encouraging the participation of new players in para-badminton competitions with a view to obtaining a qualification for the Paralympic Games of Paris 2024, follow up on the international para-badminton Uganda 2023 in which it participates in to win a medal. After this competition, the young scholarship player of the Confederation Abdoul Farid BOUKARY will be joined by four (04) other players with whom they will try to seek the continental title at the African Para badminton championships which are scheduled from July 11 to 16, still in Uganda.

It should be noted that coach Anaïs PIERRESS, who follows the same delegation, took part in the training of coaches to obtain her level 1 coach diploma in para-badminton from the world federation.
