The Israeli government approved early Wednesday, November 22, the agreement providing for the release of 50 hostages held by Hamas in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners and a truce in the Gaza Strip, according to an official press release. “The government approved the outline of the first stage of an agreement under which at least 50 abductees – women and children – will be released for four days during which there will be a lull in the fighting”specifies the press release.The Hamas government announced Tuesday that 14,128 Palestinians had been killed in Israeli bombardments on the Gaza Strip since the start of the war..
