Tonight (Wednesday), Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will convene a team of ministers to combat crime and violence in Arab society – a day after the deadly stabbing attack in Be’er Sheva in which four people were killed and two others were injured. In his remarks, Bennett praised the civilians who killed the terrorist, and pledged that the state would act to bring to justice anyone responsible for the attack and in contact with the terrorist.

“We are gathering tonight, a day after the horrific murder attack in Be’er Sheva. I want to praise here, once again, the two civilians who acted resourcefully and courageously and simply saved lives,” Bennett said. “They deserve a SLA, no less than a SLA. For the resourcefulness, for the striving for contact. This is how every Israeli should act in the face of a terrorist attack.”

“The security forces are working to reach anyone who had contact, direct or indirect, with the terrorist. Anyone who helped, inspired, incited, cooperated – we will reach him,” he added. “Our hearts go out to the families of the victims – the Ezekiel family, the Yitzhak family, the Yachbs family, and the Kravitzky family. May their memory be blessed.”
