Storm chasing a storm: About two weeks ago, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett vaccinated his 9-year-old son, in contrast to the Ministry of Health’s procedures, which stipulate that children who are defined as recovering should not be vaccinated.
The Walla website reported that when Bennett’s son, David, arrived at the vaccination site, it became clear that he was not eligible for the vaccine at all – but that after Bennett’s bureau officials approached the top of the Ministry of Health – Bennett was allowed to vaccinate his son exceptionally.
Bennett’s office said: “The prime minister has taken his 9-year-old son, David, to get vaccinated against Corona in order to encourage my parents and children of Israel to receive the vaccine, with the start of the national children’s vaccination campaign.”
“Upon arrival at the HMO, the issue of recovery was raised by the storing nurse, and accordingly the Prime Minister’s Office immediately turned to the Ministry of Health for guidance on the matter.
