Benoît Pair, 160e worldwide, and Kristina Mladenovic, 153ereceived one of the twelve wild cards reserved for French players to participate in the main draw of Roland-Garros (May 28-June 11), announced Monday the French Tennis Federation (FFT), organizer of the Major on clay.

Paire, who was surprised not to receive one of the invitations promised to the highest ranked players on the “international circuit” race, finally got his way, the FFT having recognized an error. The Federation also specified that it would announce “later” the names of the beneficiaries of the wild cards awarded under the agreements with its Australian and American counterparts.

Nine others have access to qualifications: Audrey Albie (28 years old, 241e), Lois Boisson (19, 495e), Emeline Dartron (23 ans, 393e), Fiona Ferro (26 years old, 392e), Emma Lene (23 ans, 418e), Daphnée Mpetshi-Perricard (14 years old, no WTA ranking), Nina Radovanovic (19 years old, 558e), Alice Tubello (22 years old, 342e), Margaux Rouvroy (22, 292e).

On the male side are invited: Arthur Cazaux (20 years old, 197e), Arthur Fils (18, 119th), Hugo Gaston (22, 110e), Hugo Grenier (27, 124e), John Mpetshi-Perricard (19 ans, 233e), Benoît Paire (34 years old, 160e).

As for the women’s side, nine athletes have a wild card to try to qualify: Dan Added (24 years old, 251e), Térence Atmane (21 ans, 249e), Gabriel Debru (17 years, 533e), Titouan Droguet (21 years old, 275e), Mathys Erhard (21 ans, 361e), Arthur Gea (18 ans, 982e), Antoine Ghibaudo (18 ans, 734e), Sasha Gueymard-Wayenburg (19 ans, 396e), Harold Mayot (21 ans, 196e).
