The 30th round of the Italian league kicked off tonight (Friday) with Sesuolo’s 1: 3 win over Spezia. Later, Genoa will play against Torino. On Saturday, the first three will play when Napoli host Udinese, Inter face Fiorentina and AC Milan will face Cagliari away.
Sassuolo – 1: 4 option
The Green-Blacks have already counted six consecutive games in which they have not won in Serie A, with each of those games Sesuolo winning at least twice, while the visitors failed to continue the momentum from the win over Cagliari and back on the losing track. The great Domenico Bardi put his team on the board with an accurate penalty in the 17th minute, and later completed a double that restored the lead (48) after Daniela Verde equalized temporarily (36). A victory would lift Napoli to first place, even if only for a few hours, at the expense of AC Milan and ensure it stays at least in second place.
Inter – Fiorentina (19:00, Sport 2)
The Narazuri have been stuttering in recent rounds and have won just once in the last five league games. Despite everything, Inter are in third place and only four points away from first AC Milan when they also have a game in hand. If she is still aiming to win a second consecutive championship Simona Inzaghi’s team must return to win and wait for Fiorentina, who are battling for a place in Europe next season. Inter will miss Marcello Brozovic and Stefan de Frey.
Cagliari – Milan (21:45)

They are now heading into an away game against Cagliari, who are fighting for their lives and are in 17th place, promising another season in the first division. Cagliari have not beaten AC Milan since May 2017. AC Milan will be missing injured Simon Kier.
