Berlin – You want to “bring the Federal Republic to a standstill” at the beginning of the coming year. Lea Bonasera and Henning Jeschke announced this in a press round on Friday afternoon. The two belong to the group “Uprising of the Last Generation”, of which seven climate activists most recently went on a very high-profile hunger strike in Berlin at the end of August. They wanted to put the future federal government under pressure for more acute climate protection measures.
